We recommend you have at least an anti-virus program loaded onto your computer before accessing the internet to reduce the chance of being infected by viruses, spyware, or malware. There are a number of anti-virus authors for you to choose from, Symantec, McAfee, F-protect, Panda, or Grissoft AVG to name a few. You can get more information on these products from computer trade magazines or from researching the Internet. We also recommend that you turn on the personal firewall that comes with your operating system or purchase one to also help keep out computer hackers.
